Each chessboard is hand made and no two will be alike. For the descriminating Chess Player, this is the ultimate in a rare board. Each square is 2 1/4" which will easily accomodate the full 4 inch pieces.
To the best of our knowledge, only JB Exotic is making these custom boards from Ironwood and they are made in the USA.
Since each board is custom made, there may be a 2-3 week delay after you order as we must obtain the proper wood colors.
We offer beautiful weighted Sheesham classic Staunton pieces as part of the set, and the 3 1/2" pieces are shown for illustration but if you wish more elegant or custom style pieces, we would be happy to accomodate to get them for you.
